AMD EPYC 7F72 vs. Intel Xeon Gold 6258R - Latest EPYC Rome vs. Xeon Cascade Lake Benchmarks

The Xeon Gold 6258R performance did come out stronger for the PostgreSQL database server performance, one of the areas where Cascade Lake is often having the upperhand.

The EPYC 7F72 performance also generally led the Xeon Gold 6258R in the Mlpack machine learning benchmarks.

While Intel did have slightly better performance with Scikit-Learn, but with extremely thin margins.
