RadeonSI Gallium3D Enabled In Android Builds, VC4 Looks To Be Added
Following patches from last month, within mainline Mesa Git for Mesa 10.7-devel is support for enabling the AMD RadeonSI Gallium3D driver when being built for Android.
Chih-Wei Huang of the Android-x86 project added support for enabling the RadeonSI driver when building for Android, based on earlier work done by Paulo Sergio Travaglia. That work is now committed so Android-x86 users will be able to have accelerated graphics with their AMD Radeon HD 7000 series GPUs and newer. Also hitting Mesa Git today for Mesa 10.7-devel were other Android-specific improvements.
Separately, Eric Anholt has sent out patches for supporting the building of the VC4 Raspberry Pi Gallium3D driver on Android too, but those have yet to land in Mesa Git.
