AMD Releases Catalyst 14.1 Beta Linux Graphics Driver

The first major Linux Catalyst 2014 release is now available.

The AMD Catalyst 14.1 Beta driver for Linux has been introduced with support for the AMD Kaveri APUs (officially), long with RHEL 6.5 support, openSUSE 13.1 production support, Ubuntu 13.10 production support, X.Org Server 1.15 support, and Linux 3.13 kernel support.

This Catalyst 14.1 Beta Linux update also has many bug-fixes, which are detailed via this forum page.

New AMD Catalyst Linux benchmarks will be out shortly.
