KDE developers remain very busy landing bug and crash fixes ahead of the upcoming Plasma 6.2 desktop release.

KDE developer Nate Graham is out with his weekly status report on all the interesting KDE developments for the week. Given this stage of Plasma 6.2 development, it's largely focused on fixes and polishing. Some of the KDE highlights as we close out September include:

- Various UI refinements.

- The KDE System Settings Legacy X11 App Support page now supports the non-default settings highlighting feature.

- A crash fix for KWin while using the Khronkite tiling script.

- A Kwin crash when using the Sheet effect.

- A Plasma crash and KWin hang when dragging a layer from GIMP onto the desktop.

- A Powerdevil crash fix on login.

More details over on Nate's blog.
