Mad Max on Vulkan still shows the RADV-powered Vega performance coming in short of where it should be while the mature Polaris support in AMDGPU+RADV continues running great.
The RX 580 and higher are needed for playing Rise of the Tomb Raider on Linux with Vulkan at the higher visual quality levels.
The GTX 1050 Ti with 1080p high quality settings comes in at just under the 60 FPS mark in this latest Linux game ported by Feral Interactive. In this Vulkan-powered game, the Vega GPUs are performing in line with expectations compared to some of the earlier Vulkan titles.
With extreme quality settings, the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti is really the only playable configuration tested.
