The Intel Sandy Bridge graphics performance did not scale quite as well as many of the Gallium3D drivers, but besides that, its performance was actually faster than the Radeon HD 4830 on Gallium3D at resolutions lower than 1920 x 1080.

The Core i5 2500K performances was right in between the Radeon HD 4650 and Radeon HD 4830 graphics cards when using AMD's open-source 3D driver. The performance remained well in front of the Radeon HD 4550, Radeon HD 4550, and GeForce GT 220 graphics cards with their respective open-source drivers.
