We had only spent about ninety minutes at the Goldmund house, but in that time, we were able to experience two of their media rooms. The first room had all of its multimedia equipment exposed and a motorized roll-down projection screen while the second had the appearance of a more conventional home theater.

On display in the first room was the Goldmund Epilogue Speaker System. One of the interesting tidbits of information surrounding their exposed speaker/subwoofer setup is the weight distribution. In the first room, on each of the front sides were a series of four Epilogue parts all connected via a metal structure, but there is actually minimal weight placed upon that framework. The weight is instead focused upon these metal cones between each speaker/subwoofer. Each of these towers have a weight of several tons, and thus the building's foundation needs to be able to support this weight and grounding all of this equipment. Goldmund has established an extensive installation process when constructing these luxurious home theater systems.

The Goldmund Epilogue is modular for those users who may not be able to afford a complete system but are interested in finding subwoofer deals and then upgrading later. This system can handle 120dB above 150Hz (130dB below) and its bandwidth goes as low as 7Hz.
