At least when testing at a mix of realistic 1080p, 1440p, and 4K resolutions, the Core i9 10900K was simply competitive with the Ryzen 9 3950X but not outright dominating.
The Core i9 10900K was certainly more competitive to the Ryzen 9 3950X for Linux gaming rather than the multi-threaded CPU/system workloads, but it wasn't earth shattering performance.
