Conclusion:

After working with the KL02, it's clear that there are many traits inherited from the Temjin series but at the same time it's apparent that the Kublai is the cheaper of the two. The SilverStone Kublai KL02 is designed to retail for under $150 USD, which is remarkable for an ATX tower chassis from SilverStone considering their higher prices for the Temjin cases. The Kublai KL02 is made up of a steel body with aluminum front panel and SilverStone's attention to detail certainly shows through with this case. Most interesting about this case is the number of 5.25" drive bays and the hard drive cage with SATA hot-swappable support. It is relatively easy to hot swap these drives even with the 120mm intake fan in the front, but with an extended-length graphics card this had led impairing one of the drive bays. All in all the SilverStone Kublai KL02 is a nice case for those not wishing to pay the higher prices for the Temjin cases but are interested in the best build quality. We look forward to seeing what other innovative yet economical cases SilverStone will introduce in the new Kublai series.
