Installation & Performance:

The hardware used in the Kublai KL02 build included the Gigabyte GA-P31-DS3L motherboard, Intel Pentium D 820, Mushkin 580W power supply, Western Digital SATA drive, 1GB of DDR2 memory, DVD-ROM drive, CD-RW drive, and a Radeon X1800XT 256MB graphics card. For the most part this build went very smooth. The only problem we had run into during the installation process was with the depth of the case and the hard drive cage. The ATI Radeon X1800XT wouldn't fit in the PCI Express slot as the CP05 adapter would interfere and the power and data connections were a tight fit even without the SATA adapter. To avoid this problem we ended up moving the Western Digital SATA drive to a different bay that did not impede the X1800XT installation.

Aside from the compatibility problem with the length of the graphics card and one of the SATA drives, we had not run into any problems during the installation process. The case was very easy to work with though not quite as nice as the Temjin series, but much better than some of the other cases that retail at a lower price.
