Examination:

When David Lin had first looked at the Lexa prototype during Computex Taipei 2005, he was a bit skeptical of the design. However, the end product that we have in front of us today turned out to be much better than was initially anticipated. On the front of the chassis are a power switch, three-temperature display meter, and a door that conceals the various drive bays. Unlike the NZXT Nemesis Elite, which had used a die-casted door, the Lexa boasts a metallic facade. The front panel ports are positioned on the lower right hand side of the bezel. These ports include Firewire, USB, and audio. Behind the front panel door is a similar layout to what we had seen with the NZXT Trinity.

On the side of the chassis is a clear acrylic window. Surrounding the window and on the remainder of the exterior is a glossy piano black finish. The fans used on the side of the chassis and throughout the rest of the case are low-noise 1100RPM fans -- most of which contain blue LEDs. On the top of the case is also an exhaust fan. The side panel contains a handle with NZXT logo, as well as a standard lock.
