Back in July of last year we were one of the first to review the ASRock NetTop ION 330, which was the first Atom-based "nettop" computer from this budget manufacturer that worked in conjunction with Pegatron Corp to assemble this compact computer. The original ASRock NetTop ION 330 worked out quite well and packed reasonable hardware (a dual-core Atom with NVIDIA ION graphics), but the latest computer in this series from ASRock is the ION 330HT-BD. This new nettop computer, which we are reviewing today under Linux, comes complete with a Blu-ray player along with 802.11 g/n WiFi, EuP 2.0 certification, and an MCE remote controller.

The ASRock ION 330HT-BD NetTop continues to use a 1.60GHz Intel Atom 330 dual-core processor, NVIDIA's ION platform with GeForce 9400M graphics, 2GB of DDR2 memory (expandable to 4GB), a 320GB 2.5" hard drive, support for a second 2.5-inch hard drive with RAID0/1 support, a Blu-ray disc drive, and 802.11 b/g/n wireless. While some of the hardware is different, the ION 330HT-BD looks virtually the same as the original NetTop ION 330. The ION 330HT-BD is also available in white and black models. The ION 330HT-BD also supports Gigabit LAN, 7.1 channel audio, and has a 65 Watt power supply. The dimensions for the ASRock ION 330HT-BD are 195 x 70 x 186 mm and the weight is 1.7 kilograms.

Included with the ASRock ION 330HT-BD NetTop computer was an MCE remote controller, an external 65W/19V power supply, an HDMI to DVI display adapter, hardware for installing a second 2.5-inch hard drive, and an anti-slip pad.
