The two ASRock nettops performed at about the same speed with the FFmpeg encoding test, but that is to no surprise considering when it comes to what matters the hardware is effectively the same. The Jetway NC92 was only modestly slower than the ASRock nettops, but had Ubuntu 64-bit been used the difference would be larger. For details on the 32-bit vs. 64-bit performance impact for Ubuntu Linux, check our Ubuntu 32-bit, 32-bit PAE, 64-bit Benchmarks.

Again, the Jetway NC92 was slower to no surprise while the ASRock NetTops ran at about the same speed.

The 7-Zip compression test is able to heavily benefit from the Atom 330 with its two physical cores and Hyper Threading compared to the older Atom found in the Jetway NC92 system.
