Strawberry Perl on Windows remains no substitute for Perl on the Linux distributions.

Windows Server came just behind five of the Linux distributions when it came to the Python and PHP performance while openSUSE remained the outlier.

Like with the more common I/O tests, when it came to running many operations with the Git revision control system, the Windows performance on NTFS was slower than the Linux operating systems benchmarked.

libjpeg-turbo's threaded JPEG decompression benchmark on Windows Server 2019 saw its performance in line with the lower tier of Linux distributions benchmarked.

The Blender 3D modeling software remains much faster on Linux than Windows, something we have seen with both Intel and AMD processors.
