First up with the proprietary IndigoBench, we see that the 2990WX is indeed a great deal faster than the Core i9 7980XE as would be expected considering the thread/core differences for this multi-threaded rendering test. The 2990WX comes in at 42% faster than the Core i9 7980XE and 59% faster than the Threadripper 2950X.

With HPC Challenge's HPL Linkpack benchmark, the Threadripper 2990WX is 66% faster than the Core i9 7980XE competition and a 57% improvement over the Threadripper 2950X.
