While the fastest operating system for compiling Apache wound up being Fedora 26.

Clear Linux was able to compile the default x86-64 Linux kernel in just 40 seconds! Manjaro Linux meanwhile was the slowest at 152 seconds while Ubuntu 16.04.2 LTS came in at 88 seconds.

Ubuntu 17.04 did secure a win with the C-Ray multi-threaded ray-tracer.
