One of the areas I've found Ubuntu 23.04 consistently performing worse than 22.10 on these laptops is for the graphics/gaming performance. For both the Intel and AMD Radeon integrated graphics, there were steep drops to the performance observed across multiple times.

Rather big drops to the gaming/graphics performance were observed on all three laptops with different CPUs and GPUs. As for the explanation of these drops, given that it's happening with both Intel and AMD graphics does make me wonder if it's a GNOME 44 compositor regression given what I'm seeing, but haven't yet looked closer into it due to lack of time.

Xonotic benchmark with settings of Resolution: 1920 x 1200, Effects Quality: Ultimate. Ubuntu 22.10: Ryzen 7 PRO 6850U was the fastest.
GLmark2 benchmark with settings of Resolution: 1920 x 1200. Ubuntu 22.10: Ryzen 7 PRO 6850U was the fastest.

From Xonotic to glmark2, there were noticeable performance drops observed on all three laptops with the freshly-installed Ubuntu 23.04.

VKMark benchmark with settings of Resolution: 1920 x 1200, Present Mode: Mailbox. Ubuntu 22.10: Ryzen 7 PRO 6850U was the fastest.

VKMark saw a steep drop in performance meanwhile for the Radeon RDNA2 graphics with the Ryzen 7 PRO 6850U but in that case the Intel graphics actually improved a bit. It will be interesting to dive deeper into the Ubuntu 23.04 graphics/gaming performance regressions if reader interest/support and time allows for it to happen.
