NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 Linux Gaming Benchmarks
Croteam's Talos Principle, the original launch game for Vulkan, was playable at 4K with the GeForce RTX 2070 while here the RX Vega 64 was competing with the Maxwell-era GTX 980 Ti.
The open-source Tesseract game is one of the rare exceptions where the RadeonSI OpenGL driver performs much faster than the NVIDIA OpenGL driver while both drivers are rendering correctly. But Tesseract isn't really a common Linux game but is used nevertheless as an interesting OpenGL benchmark.
At 4K with high quality settings, the GeForce RTX 2070 was running around a 60 FPS average while this was another game where the RX Vega cards with the current stable Linux drivers was performing around the GTX 980 Ti performance level.
Medium quality settings at 4K for this Linux game port released earlier in 2018 allowed for much more performance headroom.
