NVIDIA RTX 2060 / 2070 / 2080 SUPER Linux Gaming Performance - 26 GPUs Benchmarked
The original HITMAN game is rendered on Linux using OpenGL and here the Radeon cards have a strong showing against NVIDIA. HITMAN + OpenGL is one of the combinations where the RadeonSI driver stack performs very well and/or a shortcoming in the NVIDIA OpenGL Linux driver.
HITMAN 2 meanwhile runs on Linux under Steam Play with lacking a native port. Unfortunately for this game we were hitting RADV issues with D3D11 adapter errors during testing.
The HITMAN2 results at least show the RTX SUPER cards delivering nice performance improvements over their predecessors.
