For this round of testing 88 benchmarks could be run across Windows 10 / macOS 12.1 / Ubuntu / Clear Linux. With all those benchmarks, Intel's Clear Linux was in first 50% of the time followed by macOS 12.1 with wins 33% of the time. Ubuntu 21.10 had first place finishes 9% of the time while Windows 10 Pro just in front 8% of the time.

When it came to last place, Windows 10 Pro was in last behind Linux and macOS 12 for 61% of the runs.

If taking the geometric mean of all these benchmark results, Windows 10 Pro was in last place behind the other operating systems running on this Intel-powered Mac Mini. With this set of cross-platform benchmarks, the macOS 12.1 performance basically ties with Ubuntu 21.10 while Intel's performance-optimized distribution had around a 6% advantage overall.
