For Vulkan ray-tracing workloads, the NVIDIA Linux proprietary driver stack continues to hold a distinct advantage over AMD Radeon GPUs and the RADV driver especially.

The Radeon RX 7600 was delivering nice generational uplift over the Radeon RX 6600 in demanding Unigine benchmarks but tended to in turn be comparable to just the Radeon RX 6600 XT level of performance.
