Last year we reviewed the SilverStone Temjin TJ09, which was an incredible EATX chassis and the best that we had seen all year. Well, half way through 2007 at Computex Taipei we caught our first glimpse of the Temjin TJ10 and now in August we finally have our hands on this beautiful-looking computer enclosure. The Temjin TJ10 takes the winning TJ09 design but incorporates several improvements. What are these changes for the TJ10 and is this case worth the $320+ price tag? We'll tell you in the world's first review of the SilverStone TJ10-BW.

· Premium all-aluminum chassis for extended ATX, ATX, SSI motherboards
· 120mm fan only design for ultimate performance & quietness
· Unprecedented air duct dedicated for graphics card cooling
· Advanced structural engineering with superior chassis stiffness
· User-friendly layout with multiple tool-less access
· Classic SilverStone styling and finish

With the SilverStone TJ10 being based upon the TJ09, aside from some minor alterations on the exterior, the same packaging is used for both products. The cardboard exterior highlights many of the benefits for this case such as the reinforced removable motherboard tray, large power supply mounting area, and ATX/EATX/SSI motherboard support. As you can see in the picture below, the box had arrived with moderate damage to one of the sides. This cardboard is relatively thick and this damage can be attributed to the courier, but anyhow the case itself was not damaged and was resting safely between two large cardboard with Styrofoam caps. Enclosed inside a separate box were the SilverStone TJ10 user's manual and all the needed mounting hardware.

Like other SilverStone cases, the TJ10 is available in multiple SKUs. The TJ10 is available in silver and black (the SST-TJ10S and SST-TJ10B) and with or without a window (the SST-TJ10B-W and SST-TJ10S-W are the window editions). The side window on the TJ10 is the same as what can be found on the TJ09. The model we have had our hands on for the past few weeks has been the SST-TJ10B-W.
