First up with GRID Autosport, the numbers are a shame on Linux compared to Windows. However, this isn't due to bad AMD Linux drivers but in this case is an under-performing port by Feral Interactive. GRID Autosport always tends to perform worse on Linux than Windows. Though in good news, it's nice to see the open-source RadeonSI Gallium3D driver performing relatively well to the AMDGPU-PRO Linux driver. With the R9 Fury the performance is about the same while with the RX 480 Polaris card the open-source driver still has room to advance.

With Tomb Raider is another port where the Windows version of the game tends to perform much better than Linux. Here the good news is the open-source AMD driver -- on both the R9 Fury and RX 480 -- is beating the hybrid AMDGPU-PRO driver.

Even with the more demanding settings, Tomb Raider is faster with Linux 4.8 and Mesa 12.1-dev for RadeonSI than it is for AMDGPU-PRO with the same settings. But still a pity the Linux port of this game isn't more competitive with Windows.
