The I/O performance with the Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL) remains very low. We hoped to see improvements with the Windows 10 April 2018 Update, but it doesn't look like that happened with the performance still being very slow, including with the new Ubuntu 18.04 WSL.

The FS-Mark shows Ubuntu on Windows 10 still running slow, but at least not to the magnitude slower that SQLite is with WSL.

While running Compile Bench is back to showing the WSL I/O performance running at a snail's pace.
