Ending on an unfortunate note, there appears to be some serious regression within the Smallpt workload using this Ubuntu 12.10 snapshot from the end of July.

More PandaBoard ES benchmarks from Ubuntu 12.10 will come once the switch has been made to the Linux 3.5 kernel.
