GRID Autosport debuted in 2014 but didn't make it to Linux until the end of 2015. This EGO 3.0 engine racing game uses Direct3D on Windows and OpenGL under Linux. At launch, Feral Interactive who ported this game only listed NVIDIA graphics as supported but it did end up working with Radeon hardware on Linux.

Interestingly with GRID Autosport on low quality settings, the RadeonSI Linux results aren't bad at all. The RX 480 was only a few frames slower than the Windows 10 Radeon Software Crimson ReLive driver while the R9 Fury was actually faster on Linux. The game appeared to have the same quality rendering results between platforms.

But when bumping up GRID Autosport to ultra quality settings, the RadeonSI Linux performance was noticeably lower than the Windows 10 gaming numbers. The RX 480 on Linux was at 80% while the R9 Fury was at 72%.
