Deus Ex: Mankind Divided was brought to Linux by Feral Interactive. This game debuted for Windows in August 2016 while it came out for Linux just in November. This action role-playing game is powered by the Dawn Engine and under Windows does feature Direct3D 11 and 12 renderer options while on Linux is just an OpenGL option. When the game debuted for Linux it basically only worked with NVIDIA graphics as the Radeon Linux performance was too poor. Thankfully, Marek and others have been optimizing the RadeonSI Gallium3D driver since to allow for more playable results.

While a lot of optimizations already went into Mesa 17.0/17.1-dev for benefiting Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, the Linux performance remains noticeably lower than the Windows results. Then again, NVIDIA also saw lower performance with Linux than Windows in this game. But hopefully we'll still manage to see more RadeonSI performance optimizations either from AMD developers or Valve's new driver team.

Even with the Radeon R9 Fury graphics card, this game wouldn't be considered really playable on Linux with 1080p at high quality settings.
