For the Fhourstones compute benchmark, the newly added competitors (Manjaro, Debian GNU/Linux and Debian GNU/kFreeBSD) all performed in line with the other Linux/BSD platforms aside from the outlier Mageia.

PC-BSD and Mageia Linux were the oddities for the Himeno scientific test while the other nine operating systems all performed at similar speeds.

Similar to the results posted on Monday, for this Core i7 3960X EE system the trend continues of Debian GNU/Linux 7.0 being generally a little bit faster than Debian GNU/kFreeBSD 7.0.
