RHEL 7.6 with its much older GCC compiler than the rest understandably was the fastest for kernel compile times.

RHEL 7.6 also captured another win by a very narrow finish with the C-Ray ray-tracing time.

Ubuntu 18.10 with its fresher Linux software components did have a number of victories.
