Intel Core i9 7960X Linux Benchmarks
John The Ripper's Blowfish crypto performance puts the 7960X at 25% faster than the Threadripper 1950X.
The Intel X-Series also do better than Threadripper with the x264 video encoding, perhaps due to x264's Assembly tuning and the Intel CPUs handling AVX much better.
