Windows 10 vs. Eight Linux Distributions In Various "Creator" Workloads On An Intel Core i9

With these particular creator-focused workloads, surprisingly Clear Linux didn't come out at the forefront as we are used to seeing when running more diverse tests. But still it along with openSUSE Tumbleweed, Debian 10.1, and CentOS Stream had a very strong showing. It was surprising to see the new CentOS Stream come out in first place. The slowest Linux distribution tested was Ubuntu 19.10 daily (and nearly tied was Fedora 30), but that was still 9.5% faster than Windows in the tests that ran successfully across all tested operating systems. The fastest Linux distributions compared to Windows 10 was a 13.4% advantage in these creator-focused tests.

CentOS Stream was winning about half the tests for this bleeding-edge RHEL rolling-release platform that with time will diverge more from the current CentOS 8.0 state.
