The Tyan Transport CX GC68B8036-LE barebones we have been testing was paired with an AMD EPYC 7543 Milan 32-core / 64-thread Milan processor. In our time thus far of testing this Tyan AMD EPYC 1P platform among the prominent testing carried out with it has included:

- AMD EPYC Milan testing on 11 different Linux distributions. Across all these Linux distributions tested, the Tyan platform/motherboard worked flawlessly without any compatibility troubles.

- FreeBSD 13.0 vs. DragonFlyBSD 6.0 on AMD EPYC 7003. This Tyan platform has also been working fine with FreeBSD 13.0 and DragonFlyBSD 6.0 if the BSDs are more of interest/relevance to your EPYC needs.

- Early PHP 8.1 benchmarks were carried out on this Tyan server.

- AMD Optimizing C/C++ Compiler 3.1/3.0 benchmarks.

- AMD AOCC 3.1 compiler benchmarking against Clang 12 and GCC 11.

Across these tests plus other results uploaded to OpenBenchmarking.org, the Tyan Transport CX GC68B8036-LE has been working out well. There were no Linux compatibility problems experienced across any of the operating systems / distributions tried and even DragonFlyBSD and FreeBSD running gracefully on this 1U server.

From this server with AMD EPYC 7543 and 64GB of RAM, various power and thermal monitoring tests were also carried out for reference purposes.
