NVIDIA GeForce GTX TITAN X On Linux
To no surprise, the Xonotic open-source first person shooter game could run 4K with ultimate image quality settings across the high-end NVIDIA GPUs.
GpuTest's GiMark benchmark had the TITAN X running at least 30% faster than the other tested hardware on Ubuntu 15.04.
Furmark was 32% faster with the TITAN X over the original TITAN.
While Furmark is notorious for driving up GPU temperatures, the TITAN X wasn't any warmer than when it was running Unigine and other demanding GL test cases.
The AC system power consumption of the i7 5960X + TITAN X peaked to 337 Watts while running Furmark.
The TITAN X also was the noticeable front-runner for the Tessmark OpenGL tessellation benchmark.
