All sorts of comparisons are possible on OpenBenchmarking.org.

We are already working on future standardization possibilities with OpenBenchmarking.org Performance Classification (OPC) suites and much more.

The Phoronix Certification & Qualification Suite (PCQS) is also forthcoming.

Virtual build-a-systems are also coming.

There will also continue to be an expanded focus upon crowd-source validation and benchmarking. It is also important to reaffirm that OpenBenchmarking.org and the Phoronix Test Suite are fully multi-OS and multi-architecture capable. Anyone can also create their own test profiles / suites and utilize all of the features shown in these slides and on OpenBenchmarking.org. The test profiles/suites also do not need to be performance-oriented but could be image quality comparison tests, functional / unit tests, or looking at other abstract areas like battery power performance. All of this work is fully extensible.
