In this article are just some simple LuxMark results from an Intel Core i5 2400S (Sandy Bridge), Intel Core i5 2500K (Sandy Bridge) at stock and overclock speeds to 4.40GHz, and then an Intel Core i7 3770K (Ivy Bridge) at stock speeds and then overclocked to 4.40GHz. The Intel OpenCL SDK 2012 v1.0.2 for Linux was used throughout for the OpenCL support. LuxMark is one of the new tests to the Phoronix Test Suite after having worked with the upstream developers to make the multi-platform OpenCL benchmark more automation-friendly.

All testing was done on an ECS Z77H2-A2X system with just the CPUs being switched out between test runs. Ubuntu 12.04 LTS x86_64 served as the host.

The results are provided on the next page for reference. If you wish to see how your Intel CPU OpenCL performance compares, simply run phoronix-test-suite benchmark 1205223-SU-INTELIVYB67 to facilitate a side-by-side comparison against these Intel Sandy Bridge and Ivy Bridge processors.
