Next up are the Intel OpenGL results on Linux for the HD 2500 (i5-3470), HD 3000 (i5-2500K), and HD 4000 (i7-3770K) when the processors were all set to run with four physical cores, 3.2GHz base frequency, and no Turbo Boost. This testing was done to isolate out other differences and attempt to just directly compare the HD 2500/3000/4000 graphics. The Intel HD 2000 graphics on the Core i5 2400S couldn't be compared since that processor's multiplier can't be manipulated to allow it to run at 3.2GHz like the rest of the processors.

With Doom 3, the HD 2500 Ivy Bridge graphics run at nearly the same speed as the HD 3000 Sandy Bridge graphics at 1920 x 1080 with low quality settings. Unfortunately, the frame-rates for these two Intel processors were sub-30 FPS while the HD 4000 graphics was much faster.

Lightsmark results between the HD 2500 and HD 3000 were similar when the CPUs were clocked similarly. The Intel Core i7 3770K with HD 4000 graphics continue to really shine.

With OpenArena 0.8.8, the low-end Ivy Bridge graphics continue to perform about the same speed as last year's high-end Sandy Bridge graphics.
