With the LU.A test, the six-core Gulftown CPUs returned to being faster than the Sandy Bridge CPUs.

The OpenSSL encryption performance heavily favors Sandy Bridge over the Extreme Edition Gulftown.

Local Adaptive Thresholding with the OpenMP-based GraphicsMagick was found to be faster on the Core i7 990X than the Core i5 2500K Sandy Bridge. The i7-990X was 13% faster than the Intel Core i7 970.
