The MP3 audio encoding results are similar to that of the FLAC test profile, except here the LLVM and GCC compilers are closer and on the AMD Opteron 2384 where Clang lags behind GCC (and DragonEgg) while Clang on the AMD Fusion Zacate system squeezes just past GCC 4.6.0.

Using Clang with GraphicsMagick is slower than using GCC or GCC with the DragonEgg plug-in. On the Intel Core i3 2100 and Intel Core i7 990X systems, GCC 4.6.0 does appear to provide better performance than GCC 4.5. DragonEgg did try to push forward on two of the systems.
