The OpenGL performance at a mere 800 x 600 resolution was basically the same for all these modern graphics cards with RadeonSI Mesa 13.1-dev... (Note the RX 470 used for testing is a factory-overclocked model.)

When switching over to the Vulkan renderer with RADV, the Vulkan performance for this unofficial open-source AMD Vulkan Linux driver was basically the same speed as the OpenGL performance with this minimum resolution.

At 1280 x 1024, the OpenGL vs. Vulkan (RadeonSI vs. RADV) performance was the same for the higher-end RX 470 / RX 480 / R9 Fury graphics cards. But with the R9 285 and RX 460 graphics cards, the Vulkan performance was now much lower than the OpenGL performance.
