The Corsair DDR5-4400 memory was leading even with the higher latencies, but DDR4 memory was still working out well for the Intel Core i5 12600K Alder Lake setup.

Particularly considering DDR5 memory prices and extremely limited availability right now and into the near-term future, DDR4 makes quite a lot of sense with Alder Lake unless you have very deep pockets.

There are DDR5 modules available at speeds much greater than DDR5-4400, but was limited in testing based on the modules I had available.

The Intel Core i5 12600K is rated for dual channel memory up to DDR5-4800 MT/s.
