I ran some additional tests on a very different box, this time an Intel Xeon Solver 4108 with 24GB of RAM and Corsair MP500 NVMe SSD. Tests were done comparing the recent Clear Linux 25590 release to the latest, Clear Linux 26930.

I included HPC Challenge in these tests since it makes use of OpenBLAS. There was a very noticeable difference in performance with HPL.

The other HPC Challenge results were also noticeably better albeit not as dramatic.

The Numpy performance is also nicely improved.

The Rbenchmark performance also sped up nicely.

Not bad considering the speed of Clear Linux already and it looks like they may be still pursuing some additional BLAS optimizations for even more compelling performance.
