The "mitigations=off" difference with the Intel Core i9 12900K overall was very minimal for these brand new Alder Lake processors.

For web browser tests including, mitigations=off didn't yield much of a difference compared to older Intel CPU generations relying more on software-based mitigations that can be toggled by the kernel rather than Alder Lake with its various silicon changes to avoid these security issues.

Long story short, if you are running Intel Alder Lake it's likely not worth messing around with "mitigations=off" as it's not a worthwhile trade-off of the security risk for very little to no gain.
