AMD Ryzen 9 3900X vs. Intel Core i9 9900K Performance In 400+ Benchmarks

When running Intel's own Embree ray-tracing kernel collection, the Ryzen 9 3900X with its extra cores did help out enough to land it ahead of the Core i9 9900K. Embree is one of the components making up Intel's oneAPI rendering toolkit.

With Intel's OSPray ray-tracing engine, the Ryzen 9 3900X was also leading the race with the exception of the magnetic reconnection scene. That scene also was the lone case where AMD EPYC lost in a recent battle against Intel Xeon Platinum.

The LuxCoreRender performs best on GPUs but with the tests on the CPUs, the Ryzen 9 3900X did come out ahead.
