Computex Taipei 2005 Coverage
Twinmos had some interesting stuff today as well. They had a system running sticks of their DDR600 RAM and an AMD X2 4800+.
Also displayed were their TwisSter PC2-8500/DDR2-1066 sticks of RAM.
The most interesting however is perhaps their future server RAM. As in the pictures you can see a strange chip in the middle of the ram chip. That is actually a memory controller! In the future, the memory will no longer talk to the Northbridge, but the controller on the memory will talk to the memory that will then can deal with the Northbridge or CPU.
