Transitioning from the Threadripper 3970X system with Radeon RX 5700 graphics card from a Rosewill 4U chassis with NZXT water cooling to the SilverStone setup based around the RM42-502 worked out very well. It was lovely being able to accommodate the 240mm radiator without any troubles compared to squashing it in the Rosewill setup.

The former setup...

The IceGem water cooling setup fit well within the chassis and had no problems reaching the Threadripper 3970X. Even with the radiator installed there was still plenty of room if accommodating longer GPU(s) with the likes of the Radeon RX 5700 posing no issue.

A longer SilverStone Toughpower RGB 1250W power supply was in use and that too fit comfortably within the SilverStone 4U chassis.

The thermal performance out of the IceGem 240P setup within the RM42-502 with the Threadripper 3970X was also great. With the NZXT AIO cooler there ultimately was a four 120mm fan configuration with a push/pull setup in order to provide sufficient cooling within the packed Rosewill L4500 but with the SilverStone configuration it was delivering around the same performance (or better) with just the dual 120mm fan setup.
