Strange Brigade is another game running nicely on Linux under Steam Play. With the Radeon VII and using the RADV Mesa Vulkan driver, the performance was coming in a bit short of the RTX 2080 but at least ahead of the RTX 2070. Strange Brigade isn't too demanding of a modern game.

When pushing this game harder by running it at 4K with high quality visuals, the performance was now aligned with the GTX 1080 Ti and RTX 2080 graphics cards.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided meanwhile remains one of the most demanding Linux-native OpenGL-powered games. Fortunately, Radeon VII atop the RadeonSI Gallium3D driver from Mesa 19.2 was still delivering performance comparable to the RTX 2080.

The Linux-native Rise of the Tomb Raider game and powered by Vulkan showed the Radeon VII coming in a bit short of expectations, at least when using the common Mesa RADV Vulkan driver.
