There is much uplift to find with Tiger Lake Xe Graphics even compared to Gen11 with Ice Lake. The performance both for conventional graphics rendering and especially with oneAPI/OpenCL/Vulkan compute is very compelling.

On a performance per Watt basis Tiger Lake was also doing well. Through the span of all these tests carried out, the Core i7 1165G7 within the Dell XPS 13 9310 had an average SoC package power consumption of 20.57 Watts with a peak of 63 Watts.

If taking the geometric mean of all the raw performance results shown, the Core i7 1165G7 with Xe Graphics was 58% faster than the previous-generation Gen11 Ice Lake graphics with the i7 1065G7. Or compared to the Gen9 graphics on the Core i7 8565U Whiskey Lake was 2.55x the performance overall.
