The Power Efficiency From A Radeon HD 4890 Through The RX 480 & R9 Fury

Dota 2 with OpenGL on Linux is able to run on all of the graphics cards tested back to the Radeon HD 4890.

The Radeon R9 Fury had the highest peak power usage at 311 Watts.

But when looking at the performance-per-Watt, it actually provides the best value. The R9 Fury delivers more than six times the performance per Watt of an old Radeon HD 4890 graphics card, similar to the advantages of the RX 480 Polaris.

The CPU usage did vary a bit depending upon the GPU usage but nothing overly dramatic.
