Amazon Linux 2 regressed a bit in its OpenSSL performance while the other Linux distributions were running effectively the same speed.

SUSE Linux Enterprise 12 and Ubuntu 16.04 LTS managed to secure some first place finishes with the Perl benchmarks.

While in the Redis performance benchmarks, Clear Linux was back on top and Amazon Linux 2 was running slower than the Amazon Linux AMI 2017.09 release.
