As usual due to the automated result sorting by the Phoronix Test Suite, first up is BioShock Infinite.

NVIDIA GeForce vs. AMD Radeon Pre-Vega Linux

BioShock Infinite on Linux is one of the games currently performing extremely well with the open-source Radeon Linux driver stack after the recent Mesa Git work around glthread, etc. The Radeon R9 Fury in fact is running just ahead of the GeForce GTX 1080 while the RX 480 / RX 580 Polaris cards are ahead of the GTX 1060 and GTX 980. The R9 290 is on par with the GTX 970 and the R9 285 is ahead of the GTX 960. The lower-end RX 560 meanwhile is in line with the GTX 1050.

NVIDIA GeForce vs. AMD Radeon Pre-Vega Linux

The Counter-Strike: Global Offensive performance is quite good as well with the newest open-source Radeon Linux driver code with the RX 580 coming out firmly ahead of the GTX 1060 / GTX 980 and the R9 Fury just frames ahead of the GTX 980 Ti. It will be interesting to see where Vega fits into the equation on Linux.
